How do you manage dust whilst sanding?
At Chicoco we take dust very seriously, not only is it an unnecessary mess and nuisance we also consider it to be a health and safety risk for our team members. We have invested heavily in Mirka sanding equipment with additional attachments for HEPA rated dust extraction which gives us a virtually dust free working environment. The days of looking like a snowman after hours of sanding are a thing of the past and your home can be assured of no mess after our works are complete.
How do you protect from paint drops and spills
Our preparation standards are second to none. All hardwood floors are protected with Q1 waterproof card that has tape seals to the edges to eliminate any chance of paint damage. Carpeted floors have tape seal edges installed and either self adhesive polythene masking installed or polyethene backed cotton dust cloths to give a complete covering. All furniture is first photographed for placement then moved to the centre of rooms, then completely polythene covered. All light fittings are polythene covered, spotlights will be lowered and polythene masked. All switches, and plug sockets will be masked with either Q1 tape or Frog Tape. Finally all windows and Velux skylights are completely polythene covered to avoid micro paint droplets from rollers. This process can seem extensive but we want nothing to detract from the final finish.
